About the Green Leader Logo

"The Green Leader logo consists of three circles in a row made up of four quadrants each with two sets of arrows travelling across the quadrants.
The three circles are in Orange, Blue, and Green. These colours relate to the three resource types the program
endeavours to help companies conserve: Orange=Energy, Blue=Water, Green=Waste. Normally you would expect waste to be identified by the colour brown but in this instance we have chosen green as each day there is so much
unnecessary quality material discarded that it is far more accurate to define it as a resource and thus "green" than useless waste and the colour brown.
The different gradients of colour within each quadrant reflect the steps companies take to improve their energy, water and waste efficiency. As these steps are undertaken in a stage by stage basis, each quadrant reflects the move from least conscious of resources to most conscious of resource use. The circles are in a row to illustrate the necessity to incorporate energy, water, and waste reduction together on an equal basis as part of any quality resource reduction campaign aimed at lowering a company's environmental impact.
The arrows found travelling through the quadrants symbolise the forward progression through discovering the path to resource awareness and conservation and continuing this journey again and again without stopping. After all, improvements in the way we use resources can always be found.
As to the name itself, Green Leader, was specifically chosen as the most suitable title to bestow on a company or
Individual for taking the "lead" and establishing a path to resource reduction. As the word suggests, Leaders are
visionaries, mentors, trend setters, creators and pioneers. We see our Green Leaders as architects of a new future where environmental stewardship will be regarded just as highly as a company's financial performance or the quality of its goods and services."
